Any ideas how to get a 13 month old to eat vegies?

Dress them up, give dips, call them cool names. I am a firm believer in hiding them. When you make meatloaf for ex. grind them up and put them in the mixture. Don't stress over them either. If he is eating fruit and other healthy things he will get the vitamins in other foods. Just keep offering him and try to resist pressuring him because you don't want it to turn into a power struggle. Good Luck!

fristly, don't get wound up by it - all kids go through that stage!! Secondly, if your baby sees you eating the veg off your plate he/she might be more inclined to give them a go. Thirdly keep giving the veg at mealtimes (but don't get upset if they aren't eaten) it takes a toddler on average five attempts at eating food before they decide they like it...also don't be worried if he/she doesn't like cabbage - that is a genetic thing and if they are genetically programmed to dislike cabbage it will taste exceedingly bitter. Try giving sweet veg like peas, carrots and sweetcorn and introduce new ones as you go along. Hope this helps
