Quoting Brandi:

I would suggest that he not get anything to drink until after mealtime. His nutritional needs are sooooo small that he probably feels full after his drink. My daughter, she's three, does almost the same thing. she'll drink all of her milk, water, juice, whatever, then leave the table saying she's full, then asks for a snack later. that would be my other piece of advise. minimize snacking between meals. my kids get breakfast, lunch, snack, and supper. that's it. i don't allow any snacking between meals. it seems to help them be hungry at mealtime when i'm offering healthy, homecooked food. good luck and i hope these tips help.
