i am a single mom and do not have the "equipment" to show him how to do this properly. he just got his elmo potty. he sits on it and a few drops will come out. yesterday he sat on his potty then got up and peed on the kitchen floor twice. is 18 months too soon to start potty traIning? i appreciate your help!

You might wanna try putting his potty in the bathroom...since he has probably never seen you pee in the kitchen i think this might be worth a try lol

Make an appointment and talk with your child's pediatrician. He/She can definitely help with questions and an tell you where to get resources, etc.

My son is also 18 months old and is interested in the potty, but not ready to train yet.

I did order the very helpful free potty training video from pullups here:
