hylands teething tablets work great. I would give him that just before going to bed. You can also get a mesh bag with a handle on it and put frozen fruit in it for him to chew on during the day. It is made by nuby. I used it for my son....it was great cause you didn't have to worry about choking and fruit is healthy.

My boy was miserable with every tooth that struggled through, I tried amber beads in desperation and it made a huge difference. He used to wake alot in the night too but not after he wore the beads.

I also used the mesh bags with the little handles on it. You can put crushed ice or any other frozen fruits in it and he can chew on it and enjoy what he is tasting. I would also put applesauce in ice cube trays and freeze it and put the cubes in the mesh bag. And you don't have to worry about him choking. I loved them.

Homiopathic teething tablets work great! (use your finger to hold them under his tongue to disolve - it only takes about 2-3 seconds) Also try putting a damp washcloth in the fridge for a while and let him chew on it... the cold and the texture help! I used to keep two in mine so I always had a cold one on hand.
