hi ladies, my husband and i have started trying for our second baby - yay, so excited!!

we have a little boy already who is 2, and would love to have a little girl - obviously any healthy and happy baby is 100% great no matter the sex...just wondered if anyone had tried for one sex or the other and had any tips?

The closer to the time you ovulate, the more likely you will have a boy. Sperm will live for up to 5 days. "Girl" sperm are more hardy and more likely to last longer. "Boy" sperm swim faster so they tend to get to the egg first and therefore the closer to ovulation, the more likely you'll have a boy. (I have one girl and two boys and can say that the science was 100% true for us.)

i was always told to be on top when the men comes and i did this every time me and my partner had sex and found out we are expecting a girl! and as the other ladies have said sex 3days b4 to help the female sperm =) good luck!

dont have sex on the day of ovulation have sex the day before. female sperm live longer but are slower. male sperm die fast but are faster than female. also google things on what kind of foods ur hubby should eat to concieve a girl ect..

I tried for a girl and got one but I think at the end of the day it is pot luck! They say that male sperm swims faster than female sperm so only have sex three days before you ovulate to allow the female sperm a better chance to get to the egg first. Just remember that sperm lives for 5 days.

Good luck for a healthy and happy pregnancy whatever you have!
