I am 26 weeks tomorrow! But for the last while I have been having trouble breathing! It happens when I am lying down sitting up nothing stops it or warns me! I have gone to the doctors numerous times and they keep telling me that I am fine! I have a puffer but not even that works! Any suggestions or anyone going through the same thing?

The baby and your expanded uterus push upward on your diaphram making it difficult to breathe. I got out of breath all the time when I was pregnant and it got worse as I got bigger. It will go away after your baby is born. Exercise moderately at least 3 times a week to keep your heart healthy and take breaks when you need to. Don't lay flat on your back, but on your side when you are resting or sleeping.

I had that same problem, mainly when I was sitting back in the bad or trying to relax in the bed and read. I was told to try and lay on my sides and it helped a lot.
