Anyone know a safe step stool to buy?

Hi, my daughter is 2 and loves helping me in the kitchen. Does anyone know of a good step stool that i can buy so that she is tall enough to reach the worktops? She's using a normal step at the moment but keeps stepping off it. I've seen one somewhere with high sides that the child just stands in but can't seem to locate it now. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks - Kate.

any stool you get make sure it has rubber on the bottom so that it doesnt slide when they step on it. they have green at blue ones at target in the baby/toddler section near the potties and stuff, we use that in the bathroom and my son has never fallen off. in the kitchen i have one for me to reach the top shelf and sometimes my son stands on that. it is a one step, step stool that folds up. got that from target as well.

I've seen that, too!!! With the high a banister around them, counter top sized....I think One Step Ahead has one....or maybe try e-bay?? The one I found, though, was over $100.

I just use a regular dining chair. My almost 3 year old son loves to help me in the kitchen and he pulls a chair over and stands on it. It's a larger surface to stand on, so even if he gets a bit distracted, he doesn't fall off.
