we couldn't even give her goats milk when she had her milk protein allergy.Yes we actually do use tofu in some things and you can't even tell.! It's awesome! Yes reading labels have become a part of our life even when im not getting something for her we still read for us. more healthy way of living. good think our second daughter does not have allergies so far. but she eats like her sissy

My son was allergic to milk. He finally grew out of it but was not fun. He only started eating strawberries. We dont' normally have them in the house as i'm highly allergic to them. I do think milk, eggs, cats, and dogs may be the easiest to deal with. My son had to have soy as goat milk isn't as easy to get. Eggs, cats and dogs you just stay away from. If your daughter is old enough have you tried tofu instead of eggs. May sound gross but at least it's protein. Nuts and corn i think are the hardest as it's in lots of stuff. Reading labels became a part of life. I wanted to give my son Nutripals but i read it and found out it had milk or lactose in it so that was out.

It is not fun but you do get used to watching what is given and reading labels.
