Baby Acne

My Daughter is 3, going to be 4 in a couple of months and she has what I have been told is baby acne on her nose and cheeks. It is usually little white bumps on her nose and sometimes cheeks that makes her skin red around the area. We have tried many many different things, both over the counter and perscription, and nothing seems to work. I am wondering if anyone else has has this problem and what they didnt to fix it? I am considering taking her to a skin specialist if I dont find an answer soon because I dont want it to cause any scarring..

I would consider seeing a dermatologist because it could be something else. Does anyone in your family have a history of eczema or asthma? It could be that. My son has eczema not real bad but it looks like what you are describing. He had baby acne at first too, we used cetaphil and it cleared up with time. Good luck

Have you ever heard of Tahitian Noni juice? My sister had bad exzema when she was lil & no creams worked....but when she took 1 oz a day of this juice it cleared it up within a couple months. It can also be used topically. It's worth a shot. Alot of people use it for a variety of health issues. My sister hasn't had any problems since.

That is what I thought too, but the Doctors keep saying that this is what it is. She had it for about a week when she was about a month old, and then not again until a few months ago.

Considering her age, I am surprised that it hasn't cleared up by now. My son had baby acne until he was about 8 months old and it went away without me having to do anything. I would take her to a dermatologist and get their advice. Good luck.
