My son started to fight going to bed as well around 2 or so. I think this was because I would spring bedtime on him and he didn't know it was coming...since toddlers cannot tell time by our clock standards, rituals can help them anticipate the next piece in the order of the day. So, I started a ritual for bedtime; bath, followed by a quiet playtime with daddy, then hugs and kisses, pajamas, brushing teeth, bedtime story and lights out. He still fusses when I turn out the lights at times, but for the most part, it's peaceful and he actually asks to be put in his bed! I hope this helps :)

The only advice I can offer is to make sure you've established a routine with him! Since my daughter was home from the hospital it's always been BATH, BOTTTLE (or breastfeed) and BEDTIME......the three B's! LOL! My daughter is 17 months and I've never had to fight to get her to bed! Sometimes we read a book or have a massage but just as long as you've established a routine hopefully things will get better??!! Good luck!
