I try and get through the bedtime routine by 9pm, but my daughter (2 1/2) rarely falls asleep before 9:30, and sometimes it's even as late as 10pm. She seems to have inherited the night owl gene.

my son is 2yrs 4months and ever since he turned 1 he has not taken many naps during the day, he likes to stay awake for everything...lol. He is usually in bed by 8:30pm everynight and passes out within 2 minutes and is up the next day by about 9am, he has always slept like this. He is really good too when it comes to times when I need to wake him at 7am because we are going on trips or have appts, those days he might fall asleep on the couch when we come home or a nap in the car.

My kids are 4.5 and 3.5 and they have always had bedtime between 7 and 7:30. Kids need a good amount of sleep and it gets them prepared for school. Not to mention, it gives you a chance to enjoy quality time by yourself or with your partner before you feel the need to go to bed yourself... :)

My boys bed time has always been 7pm. DS1 is 2.5 and DS2 is 12mths. They sleep till 6.30-7am the next day.

The 2.5yr old has one day nap from 1-3pm and then we head out to the park etc for the rest of the afternoon to burn up all the new energy.

Our son is 2 years 8 months and we try to get him to bed by 7.30pm but often it is 8pm. He is no longer sleeping during the day so he is worn out by then and trying the sleep on the bathroom floor!

My son is 25 months and he goes to bed every night at 7pm. Then we read and sing some songs while I rub his back. I leave to read to his older brothers and he's normally asleep by 7:30pm. He's on a great schedule and is miserable when we get off track.

I put my two year old down @ 8:30. He usually lays quietly, but doesn't fall asleep til around 9ish.

I base it off of if he naps during the day or not. Sometimes my little boy does and he has awake periods of about 5 hours in between sleeping. So in that case I put him in bed at 8:00. But if he doesn't nap all day, then he is definitely going down like 7:00 or 7:30.
