For my sons 2nd Birthday we had it at My Gym. It was great. They had teachers there to completely run the party. You just had to show up. I had kids of various ages and they all had a great time.

for my son, when he turned 1, everything was "one" No real theme, just bought a bunch of #1 stuff from Party City.

another good idea: do you have a Dollar Tree in your area? the sell birthday party sets, right now is luah, pirates, princess stuff. BUt the have other stuff too, plus your basic colors. AND IT IS ALL A DOLLAR!! keep it in mind, my fav store!!!

At the age of 3, you don't have to do much. For my daughter, we just did a family party at Chuck E. Cheese. For my son, we just had some friends over to play outside. We served pizza and cake and that was it. You don't really need to structure much. We got a princess cake for my daughter but didn't really use a theme for my son.

Whatever she is in too at the moment. I am sure she must have a fav cartoon, toy or book?? Just go for that, it's so much easier than trying to think of something different.

At the end of the day it's more about the people, her little friends and some nice nibbles than the decorations, so just focus on that. Hope this helps
