My son has started to bite, sometimes so badly he has drawn blood. He is worse and does it more when he is tired. He has bitten 2 of his friends on several occasions and has bitten his older brother and sister (aged 9-13ys) . Any advice on how to deal with this and stop him doing it???

My son (15 months) started biting other kids at daycare last week. I feel so bad because I'm actually not there to tell him how wrong it is. I hope it's just a phrase as he's cutting more teeth.

My son went through that for alittle bit as well, I just put him in time out and made him look me in the eye and tell him that it is not ok to hurt people like that, that biting is very bad and it hurts people and that might work best since your son is 3 and knows alittle better,  anouther kid bit  my son back once and it showed him how much it hurts and he never did it again. If your comfortable with it you could bop him in his mouth right after he does it then explain to him how wrong it is. Its hard cause every kid is different and hopefully they will just grow out of it, at least as parents we all hope, good luck i know its tough.
