I BREAST FED MY SON UNTIL HE WAS 16 1/2 MONTHS OLD. SHE REALLY NEEDS TO BE OF THE BOTTLE FOR SURE. TRY USING SIPPY CUPS AND CUPS WITH STRAWS TO GET HER TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF HAVING A BOTTLE ALL OF THE TIME. MINE SON HARDLY EVER TOOK A BOTTLE, JUST A FEW TIMES DURING THE DAY WHEN I WASN'T THERE AND THE FEW TIMES I WOULD LEAVE HIM OVER NIGHT. I FINALLY WAS LIKE I HAVE TO GET THIS KID OFF THE "BOOB"!!! I ENJOYED BREAST FEEDING THATS WHY I DONE IT SO LONG, BUT YOU JUST HAVE TO BE TOUGH AND JUST STOP. ITS HARD, MY SON CRIED AND IT HURT HIS FEELINGS (MINE TOO). I TRIED NURSING HIM LESS AND LESS EACH DAY THEN I JUST STOPPED HIM COLD TURKEY. THE FIRST WEEK WAS ROUGH BUT IT WILL GET BETTER!! HANG IN THERE AND GOOD LUCK!! NOT SURE THIS WAS HELPFUL TO YOU BUT MAYBE YOU CAN TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT OTHER WAYS AS WELL. HAVE A GOOD DAY!! :)
