I'm contemplating joining DJ to a child modelling agency. He loves the camera. He's 2. What do people think about this? My friends has her son in one and its worked well for her. I hear a lot of them are a rip-off. I agree. I'm in Melbourne Australia. Can anyone recommend one?

My friend has her child in Bubblegum. He's always in Kmart and Target catalogues.
I decided against it afterall, my son is a showoff and a comedian as it is, so i expect he'll let me know if he wants to do something like acting or singing. I figure there's plenty of time.
thank you all for your replies though.

Hi there,my daughter is over 2 and got accepted into Bettinas modelling agency to do her photo shoot. They loved everything about her,so thats the first step getting her foot in the door.next step is getting her photo and then waiting for an agent looking for a child with her looks and personality to use in their catalogues.Apparantley what l was told is they like the child to have a great pwersonality and works well in front of the camera.I know my daughter loves having her photos taken which is an advantage she told me.so l will give it a go ,if nothing eventuates out of it no big deal and if it does thats even better.Good luck with it.But as l said every mother knows that their child is beautiful and special no matter what....

Ohhhh, I have been thinking the same thing for my child, but over here they won't take kids until they are 3 only because it's hard to work with two yr olds. I think it's a great idea. he can make some $$ to save for his education. I would go for it.

The agency they used was Bubblegum, but I also heard that Minchkins will reject your child if they dont find them appropriate. Its the only agency i've heard that would do that! I also think my son would be a good actor/singer/dancer, he loves entertaining and making us laugh. He's only 2 though, so i have to wait also.

Im also in Melbourne and was going to do the same...I think its great because it helps the lil one build confidence etc..as long as u dont go overboard and want to be one of those celebrity mums etc:)...I'm not so sure either to what agency because i know theres alot out there that rip u off..but i was considering putting my lilone into britestar (its more a entertainment/performing agency..acting, singing etc) but they dont take children under 3 anymore and not sure if they do modelling...try asking ur friend what agency she has her child in..maybe there is an office in melb. i would like to know too:)
