My son has been at the same at home daycare for almost a year now....The woman there is excellent in caring for him, I would love some really creative ideas for my son to help me make her a Christmas gift. I want it to be personal from him, but also something she might be able to use or hang in her room she has set aside for her kids. I want it to be completely home made and from him....needing some really crafty ideas, researched online and the coffee mugs, christmas ornaments, and such seem too popular, I would like something that is unique....Thanks for the help

Get items to make a personalized pencil holder. All teachers need them and a really nice one will make her day! Plus he can decorate it however he wants and he'll always see it on her desk!

you can get make your own soap kits for craft stores (i know micheals sells them but not sure if that is in your area) you melt down the soap flakes and can put them in molds (or cut them with cookie cutters after) you get to add your own scent and everything. It might be a little bit to old of a project depending on the age of your little one though.

Why not buy some self drying clay and make some sort of pot, press beads and buttons into the clay to give it sparkle. This is both personal and practical. When the clay is dry cover with a weak varnish to set the decorations in place.
