ok this morning some how my husband was doing laundry found a dirty diaper in the washing machine that had been washed. and then this afternoon i tryd to find the diaper i had grabbed before changing my son and realized i had already put it on him lol. he is really crawling all over the place and pulling himself up and walking around furniture. and then tonight i ask my husband to help clean after it was clean i said thank you. he then told me right after giving him thank yous that by the time he got all the sweeping done and mopping, i finally got the counters wiped. i layed into him for the first time and told him. that it took me that entire time to do the counters cause all i heard was honey come grab your son he is into everything. i grab him i wipe the countres a little more put him down five minutes later he is after daddy lol. honey come grab him. so yeah if it was not for me grabbing him and letting you work you would of gotten the exact same amount of work done in the same amount of time lol. things have been a little hectic since my child could crawl and i know that there are some that dont know 9 month olds are considered toddler and i figured you guys would get a kick out of this day lol i know i did.

lol I think we all have those types of moments. Some of us are just more willing to admit our imperfection more than others lol.

My younger daughter is a walking natural disaster. She has mastered the artform of mess making no matter what it is. If she gets a hold of any open box with cereal or the like in it, well, don't plan on it staying in there for long 'cause she thinks everything looks better when dumped out. She is picasso with her food as well. Everything turns into artwork unless of course she really likes it in which case she wears the artwork.

OH! And once at night time, but just once lol 'cause I never made that mistake again lol, I did a diaper change and I always do so in the dark. I open the diaper up in advance to make it easier. Well the next morning her sheet and part of her clothes are drenched in pee. I go to change her diaper and think, "WOW, you peed so much the ENTIRE DESIGN of the diaper is GONE!" Then I realized....it wasn't gone....and the reason why it had leaked so profusely was because I somehow managed to put her diaper on INSIDE OUT!

I dropped my 5 year old off for Kindergarten one morning towards the end of this past school year and as I was heading up the road I thought, "Wow, they're (her and my then 19 or so month old) really quiet back there," and asked Brycelyn if she was okay and looked in the mirror and didn't see her in her carseat. I turned my head to look at her and thought, "OH MY GOD! WHERE'S BRYCELYN?" About two seconds later, I realized, oh, yeah, I just dropped her off at school. Thankfully my younger daughter will never remember the day and never tell.

I thought your story was hysterical. I think crazy mom moments come with the territory. There was a day a couple of months ago that I forgot to put underwear on my now 3yr old son. Well moments later I see him running down the hallway and a blob of poop fell out of his pants. I start laughing so hard that I couldn't talk. My husband comes over and almost steps in it. My advice for those crazy mom moments is to just get a good laugh from them and keep enjoying every minute of you child's life as they grow up so quickly. Also remember we moms are far from perfect and that is just one of the things that make us wonderful :)

lol been there done that!!! my son HATES having his diaper changed, he turns into a gymnast for every changing! he's 18 months now, so he can go longer without going potty, so every once in a while, especially after bathtime, i just let him run around naked. we've had a couple accidents, but nothing major. he enjoys it and i like that his skin gets a chance to air out instead of being stuck in a diaper all day!

lol thank god i am not alone, my husband gave me the weirdest look finding the diaper i have yet to stop laughing. i have never had a day like this before but he is more and more each day i especially love it when i change his diaper he runs off butt naked lol and then i got to catch him to put the new one on. hence me forgetting i had already put the diaper on him trying to find where i put it lol.

wow chrissy, that was kind of rude. if you're not entertained, how about just not saying anything?

kimberly, i know how it is. once kids start to move around, especially when you're a first time mom, you really have to adjust EVERYTHING you do! my son loves to run around and play and he can make the biggest mess during the day, and it's so hard to keep up after him sometimes. i LOVE naptime, i either catch up on sleep and deal with a messy house, or i clean and deal with exhaustion lol it depends what my mood for the day is. my hubby helps out on a regular basis, but i don't think they really GET how hard it really is to chase after a toddler all day WHILE trying to keep them safe and clean AND keep up on the housework. my husband can get the kitchen totally clean in about 15-20 minutes while i occupy our son, but it'll take me all day because i don't have anyone to occupy my son for me! so there's been a few times where he'll comment on how "crappy" i am at cleaning.

we're pregnant with number 2 and for a few weeks i was put on strict bed rest, so he had to take time off from work and school to be home to help me and be with the baby. for the very first time he had to be mr. mom! he had to get up every morning at the crack of dawn, change every diaper, clean up every mess, cook every meal, and he finally understands just how difficult it really can be sometimes, and he finally understands why as moms we're so crazy!! lol

and i DID get a kick out of your day, mainly because i've been there!!
