I don't know that scare tactics will work Salem.

Here's my thought on this...the best way to safeguard your child against a sexual preditor is to have talks with them

things like ...these are your private parts..we never ever let anyone touch them..and if anyone does you say "NO!"

Start this conversation with them as young as possible..we have 2 daughters and they both get this reminder a couple times a month. A well informed child is a better protected one. Preditors don't want to mess with a child who is going to tell because they have been educated.

This will also stop the inappropriate behaviour you are experiencing with his friend.

Hi there,
Maybe try to say to them that the if you continue doing that the doctor will come and chop it for use. just to see what their reaction will be.

Is this your 2 or 4 year old. If it is your older child then you should be able to talk reason to him that this is not appropriate and you don't want to see him do that. Do not say it is dirty or anything just tell him that you would rather he showed the other boy his arm muscles! If he starts to do it again then just say show us your muscles instead and make a big thing of how strong he looks. This is positive diversion.

If it is your 2 year old then simply put a belt on him so that he can not pull his trousers down so quickly and again use diversion tactics. It is a phase as boys are fascinated by there willies as they dangle and feel strange. The novelty does wear off eventually. Well to some degree any way. lol
