My sister just found out yesterday that her son ( who is 20 months old ) has the Measles. My daughter ( who is 18 months ) hangs out with him everyday since my mom watches both of them while my sister and I work and go to school. My Nephew got all of his vaccinations for now but still got a bad case of the measles. My daughter still isn't showing signs at all. ( she rarely gets sick at all and my nephew is always sick it seems ) Because she doesn't seem sick, do you think she can be carrying the virus? She is supposed to get her 18 month shots in 5 days but she probably can't now until this is all done.

I think you should call your pediatrician and ask!! Vaccines do not stop them from getting the disease/virus but should help fight any off if they do come into contact with them. Good luck.

Most countries give the MMR vaccine at 12 months so if your daughter's shots have followed the recommended schedule than it is unlikely she will get the measles and if she does the vaccine will make sure it'll be a mild case. You can always call your pediatrician to set your mind at ease.
