What is the most safest-ecofriendly way to deodorizing a toddlers room. I wash her sheets and take out her diaper pail but it has that certain smell. I don't leave plug ins or lysol in her room...only when cleaning her matress. Help?

I usually have the window open as much as possible and keep the breeze moving through. Plus the washing sheets, etc. I have heard that Borax is a safe cleaning agent.

You have to identify where the smell is coming from. Has the diaper pail been disinfected? I know my diaper genie even though it is lined with plastic still stinks after it is emptied. What is the mattress made out of? If it holds odour get a new one! There could also be something stinky lurking in the carpet and it may be worth your while to shampoo it. I also use Organic Orange TKO to spot clean the carpet. It smells great but is organic and not a bunch of chemicals. I agree though, don't use any deodorizers and just opening a window will work wonders!
