Discipline for a 2 year old

Thanks to everyone for tips on having my child listen, but when she refuses to listen to her father and I, I don't know how to go about discipline. When we ask her to do something or tell her not to do something, we get an attitude or she just ignores us. I read from everyone how to handle it, but I want to know how to discipline her when it doesn't work. Please help me!!

We used 1,2, 3 Magic with our daughter when she was little and it worked for us. However, consistency is the key and it takes both parents to make it work. Good luck.

My son did that. What I found helped was putting him on a time out, taking away a certain toy that he really likes, etc. It shows them that there are consequences. But you have stick to it. If you don't it sends them mixed signals and confuses them.

Good luck
