Hi, I am almost 39 weeks and since monday my (boy) cat has been sitting on me and following me everywhere lol just wondering if this might be a sign we are nearly ready to meet our little one..? I was hospitalised and induced early with the last one so this time it's all new! :D

Maybe? Animals are very intuitive. I'd truust my gut and you should be preparing anyway!:) Get ready reguardless silly:) but then again your cat may be on to something. Either way I'd be having my bag packed @ the door. Bless you during your birthing process and enjoy the precious scent of your new baby!♥

When I was pregnant one of my cats (a female) would follow me constantly. Before I was pregnant, the cat used to sit on my lap and try to be on me all the time, so much that it got annoying. After I got pregnant though, she would just meow softly and sniff my belly every chance she got. I definitely think she knew something was going on. I'm not sure a cat can predict labor but I've heard stories of dogs detecting cancer so I guess anything's possible.

I didn't notice anything with my two cats (boy and girl) but I've heard of this before so who knows! Best wishes for a beautiful birth whenever it happens.
