Noah is 2 years old and we have had the problem for just over a month now. He went from a great sleeper in his own bed to wanting to be in our bed or the double bed in the spare room. We have gone and brought a nite light which he choose and a new special toy (an owl) that watches over him. This worked for about 2 nights, I have now brought a cd player for his room and he lies in bed listening to classical lullabies until he eventually falls asleep. If he wakes during the night, he gets into our bed and we either move him back to his later when hes asleep or my husband or myself end in up in the spare room. Not ideal but its not everynight now, most nights of the week he sleeps all night. good luck.

My daughter who's 2 started doing the same thing once she went into her big bed. Everytime she would climb into bed with me I put her straight back into her bed. It took about a week with the occasional lapse every now and then. Just be consistent.

We just had to take ours back to bed - we did it when he turned up and sat on his bed for awhile until he went back to sleep, this really helped him to feel secure going back to sleep. It meant a few sleep deprived nights but I think it took about a week and then it became a little more sporadic and we started just taking him back and were able to leave him to fall asleep. If you can get a response out of her as to why she comes down that can help you decide the best way to go.
