When my son dosen't gt his way he likes to cry so hard he forgets to take a breath, and it scares me at times because it gets so bad to where he will fall over turning blue or pale. What can i do to fix this?

You post caught my eye b/c my 2nd child did that from a very early age. He was just about two months when he would cry and not even make any sounds!! My pediatrician told me this says alot about what his personality will be like. I would just rub his chest to keep him from God forbid passing out. It does stop though he is 3 now and he doesn't do it anymore. He is stilla crier though....

He should grow out of it in time, try not to give in to him even though it's scary. It's just a form of attention seeking to try and get what he want's, if you ignore it he should stop doing it after a while - children are wonderful manipulators but it's totally subconscious - not malicious at all - once he realises it's not working he'll give up.
