My daughter has always woke up for milk. But here lately she's waking up 2,3 sometimes 4 times a night for milk. Sometimes she will drink the entire sippy cup other times she just drinks enough to help her fall back to sleep and waste the rest.
Anybody else having this problem?
Any advice on how to help cut this back some?If I dont get up and get her milk she cries, and cries till I do.

Quoting margaret:

I have 3 children each one woke up during the night, some times more than twice,
i had to stop this at 16 months...so hard i did controlled crying with the first two..
my 3rd child is now 1yr so when he wakes i keep turing him and putting the soother back in his mouth till he sleeps off,. then remove the soother.. you feel like you'r getting no sleep don't you.

yes thats exactly how I feel. Its exahusting!

I to have this problem, my daughter is 3 and loves her strawberry milk, that is the only way she will fall asleep at night and during the day for a nap. I am trying to wein her away from it and the only thing that is helping right now is yoo-hoo. I know that may not sound any better, but yoo-hoo has no milk in it and is way better to drink for the kids then milk. Also, when you child goes to bed at night tell him or her that this is it, I will not give you anymore milk tonight so don't bother to ask. If they do cry at night just ignore it and they will fall back to sleep and then your child will get use to it. Hope it helps a little, Good Luck!!!
