Does it affect their teeth and i believe it teachers kids to only eat and drink at dinner table on a spacific schedule is this right thinking?

Well, a regular cup should be introduced. They can have the same access to a cup as they would a sippy cup. I would keep it only for the car or water at bedtime if your trying to wean. I would love to throw away all of our sippies!

I think she should be drinking from a regular cup - of course with this the rule of thumb.. only letting her have snack/meals at a table to reduce mess (and develop good manners). I am currently looking for a job in childcare - and was actually shocked when I heard that the preschools require for two year olds to drink from regular cups (at least in NC). My daughter is 21 months, and I'm working with her right now to learn how to drink from a big girl cup.
