Ear Infection Suggestions - Home Remedies etc

My 2 year old has an ear infection and I can't find a clinic that has any openings within an hour of where we live. I know there are a million home remedies for ear infections out there, but unfortunately I don't know any of them. If something has worked for you in the past, I would appreciate if you could pass it along.... he's in pain and Tylenol only works for about an hour and a half.

Thank you!

There are also homeopathic over-the-counter remedies, like ear drops. You can find them in the natural section of your grocery store or drug store.

Garlic and Olive Oil works great! Here is a recipe and instructions: http://www.learningherbs.com/ear_ache_re...

Also, Garlic taken internally is a natural antibiotic. You can either give him raw garlic, or mix it in with food, or get garlic gel capsuls and squeeze the gel from one capsul onto a spoon and mix with some honey and give to him a couple times a day. Echinacea is also a great immune booster, most health stores will have a children's variety that is in a liquid form, just a teaspoon a day until they feel better.
