Ear Infections....HELP?

Our daughter has had several ear infections this year and when we took her to see her regular doctor they sent us to a ear, nose, and throat doctor who said he couldn't do anything because her ear canals are to small...now she's got another ear infection and I'm just wondering if there is something I can do to help her...We try to avoid water in her ears and when she does get water in her ears we use a drop of hydorgen peroxide like her doctor told us to and I also use sweet oil in her ears at night because wax builds up so easily in her ears but is there anything else I can do?

I would see if you can be referred to a different ENT. I had 2 sons that had to get tubes because of chronic ear infections. Also, in the meantime, ask your doctor if they can prescribe numbing drops for her ears. That would at least help with her pain. I hope you get some answers!
