Hi there, I just wanted to ask if anyone had a baby/toddler who did a lot of things early, (eg. my daughter walked at 8 1/2 months) I was just wondering when othere babies started talking. she says "ma-ma', 'dada', 'gaga' ect, but hasn't put her 'words' to objects yet.

my daughter didnt walk until she was 13 months old.

but she had over 20 words by 12 months. now at 17 months she has between 70-90 words, puts together small scentences... and has no problem at all letting me know what she needs ... or wants! all babies are different.. some dont talk until they're two, and some are chatter boxes before 18 months. some walk at 8 months (my little sister) and some dont walk until they're 2!! (me!! lol)

just enjoy every moment. :) babies are precious!

Thats great! See Isabella says 'words' 'mama, dada, yes,oh' things like that, but nothing has meaning yet, like everything is, 'buh' or 'mama'. There just isn't one word for one object. I think that because she was quick to crawl, quick to walk, and climb and other things like using a sippy cup and spoons, I feel like maybe she should be saying at least a few words by now. But I guess all in good time. p.s. your son is a cutie!

my little boy was walking round furniture at 8 months but wouldnt walk on his own till just under 2 months ago (i think it was a confidence thing). but hes been saying mama and dada since he was about 8 monthas. and can now say about 10 words including a mini sentance "whats that". hes just turned 15 months and everyone says thats really good for a boy of his age.
