first time mom, 2 year molars?

I was just wanting some input on two year molars. My daughter seems to be getting them, and she is running a temp of 101, and today she threw up. At first I thought she was getting sick, but throughout the evening, she was fine. She was running and playing. I can feel the bumps on her gums in the back and she is chewing her fingers like crazy. I am assuming that this is what it is. She is my first child, so I am not sure how this goes. Is 101 normal? What about vomiting? Advice please!

Both my children always had low grade fevers of about 99 degrees with teething, I know the pedi says it's not related to teething, but my children always have a fever w/ teething. I do agree with the others though, vomiting is not normal and it sounds like there are other issues. I would take her to the pedi for a checkup.

101 is not normal..that is a fever. If she is vomiting she could have a flu or something else. Try giving her baby tylenol and if that doesn't help her fever get her in asap to emergency

Teething isn't known to cause fever but some swear that it can cause a low grade fever. I have never heard of vomiting from teething. If it persists longer than a few days and she seems to be lethargic and not wanting to eat or drink I would take her to a doctor just to be sure it is nothing serious. You can give her motrin, advil or tylenol for the fever and the pain.

I am told that cutting teeth should not make your child have a temp, and definately should not make her throw up. I would say there is something else going on.
