how do you teach a toddler to eat his own food and not other

I would recommend just telling him no... over and over and over. And don't let him eat off anyones plate anywhere. At home, restaurants, grandma's house. Even if Grandma say's, "Oh, I don't mind." Tell her your rule and stick to it. Say things like, "please don't, this is Mommy's, this is yours." He will eventually get it.

well my son will through a fit if i am eatin somethi different than him and i didnt kno how to break it

Hi Ashley,



I am new to this site and I saw your question. If you feed your toddler what you eat then you can sit beside your child and take some off of thier plate whiile they watch and say mmmm or yummy that will make them see that you will eat so it must be good.. hope this helps , i have to do that with my daughter sometimes.
