You have to stop this by not rewarding her for waking up. At the moment she moans and you take her a drink, she has all the control. When she wakes up go in and settle her and leave the room, she does not need a drink at 1am. She will moan and moan the first night but shoud be getting the message by day 2 or three. Children learn very quickly that crying gets mums attention, so gain control and be stern with her, or you will have a job on your hands in years to come.

I am completely with Louise. If oyu need to fade it out by reducing the amounts fine, but I personally would stop giving it, or offer water or nothing. Make sure she gets enough food at dinner, and give her a cup before bed, but if she wakes up let her settle herself back down. If you do have to get up just tell her it's bedtime, no other talking, and lay her back down. You will just have to be consistent and strong...this is on you.

If she wont go to bed until she has a drink try giving her less and less. lets say she drinks 10oz, give her 9 for a few nights then 8 then 7 and so on so she gets used to less and then none
