Getting a 13 month old off the bottle..HELP!

My son is 13 months old and I am trying every single day to get him to eat solid food. He eats some but then wants the bottle. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I find if you cut down on the bottle and just try to feed everytime at meal time, even if he/she only eats one or two bites, they will catch on sooner since they are not being provided with the bottle as much as they use too. just make sure the are hydrated, i would give my girl just a drink of water when I was having a difficult time getting her to eat. keeping a schedule is important. but they also go through their spurts of not eating and then boom all they want to do is eat! Goes the same with their sleep, they really need it when they are growing, somehow you will see. My 3 year old girl, it took me two nights to take her off the bottle, she cried and cried, but she finally took the cup the 2nd night. We were living by ourselves though, my 1 year and 1 month boy however is still on the bottle. We have a 4 month old girl whom I try to let get a lot of rest and he has the tendency to take her bottle when he pleases. So I am having a hard time with him, but he will drink out of a cup when I offer. I feel that I am getting off track but that is what I have done.
