If he isn't taking a sippy cup it might me that he doesn't like the nipple on it. Try the "nuby" bottles. They resemble a teet bottle. My son wouldn't take a sippy cup until I discovered these. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http...,r:21,s:46&tx=74&ty=79 Now he will drink out of anything.

I made the holes in my sons teats slightly bigger and bigger until he no longer needed to actually suck at the teat it was free flowing. The teats then seemed to loose their appeal .

Good luck my 21 month old son still has to have bottle before bed time or he will keep everyone up in the house with his high pitch screams he has now learned he can do lol but i did get him off of bottle during day by giving him his drinks in sippy cups he likes I just need to get the bottle away at night time lol good luck!!

My suggestion would be to just throw them away. At first he/she may cry, not drink much, etc. but once they realize that you are not giving in and giving them the bottle they will start to drink from the sippy cup.
