My daughter who will be 2 in june is telling everyone most of the time to go away. it was funny at first but now if someone even walks past her in the street she tells them to go away. Do i just ignore and put it down to a faze??? Or has anyone got any other suggestions.

My twin boys were saying this for awhile so I told them we don't say that we say bye bye. For some reason it worked. I also told them when they say that to Mommy it makes her sad. When I tried it I didn't think it would actually work but for some reason it has for a few months now.

I am sure people understand and especially people with kids, that she is just a little thing and really doesn't know what she is saying. If you or people react to it every time that she does it, that is probably why she continues to do it. Kids love attention and if saying that little sentence works she going to use it :) I don't think it's a big deal. Fazes are cute they make for good stories when they are older.

It's the age and totally a phase. My son does the same thing, in grocery stores, walking down the street, to my parents, you name it! Usually its "DONT SEE ME- GO AWAY!". I will just tell him that it is not nice to talk like that, but it is nothing I will punish him for or anything. There are days I dont want people to bother me either!!!!!
