My 4 year old daughter has been doing this since she was little. I have no idea how to stop her. Maybe ask the Dentist!

My 3 year old also does this at night.I don't think there's really anything you can do now, but if he's still doing it when he is older, you can buy a football mouth guard from the store for him to wear at night. It's basically the same thing as one the dentist will make (although of course it's not "custom") but it's a heck of a lot cheaper!

Hi Sarah, my 5 year old does the same and I said it to his dentist he told me most kids grind and that it is something that they grow out of and not to worry...Hope it helps:)

I have the same problem and my dentist told me that because we do it when we sleep, there's nothing really we can do. If he has a dentist they can give you suggestions, they made me a custom fit mouth guard so at least I am not grinding my teeth down to nothing. Good luck
