Hair Loss After Giving Birth; Help

This makes my second time experiencing hair loss (starting 2-months after the delivery of my babies). I'm experiencing hair loss around my frontal hairline. This is my second time having this happen to me. My 2nd-born baby is now 18-weeks old and when he was about 2-months-old (the same age as my 1st born when it initially happened) the edges of my hairline suddenly broke off. It's so frustrating & fortunately my hair has length enough to cover this hair loss. But as fast as it falls out, it ultimately returns & suddenly. With my 1st born, he was 6-months-old when my hair suddenly returned. I was so happy & now I'm going through it again with my hair. With both pregnancies, I was given an epidural & resulted in having c-section deliveries. Are any of you mothers experiencing any thing like this after having a c-section delivery? If so, what methods did or do you use to help control the problem (as well as treat the problem)? It seems that each time I comb my hair it's shedding. Please share if you're experiencing or have experienced this problem & what methods did you take to help quail the issue. Thank you, ladies!

I also lost quite a bit of hair after my daughter was born. I also have hypothyroidism which contributes to the problem. I couldn't put my hair half-up for about a year because the little clasp would just slide out. The doctors told me it was normal for this to happen and it would eventually go away. I know there are products online you can take to help this, but I don't know if you can take them while breastfeeding.

My hair gets really thick when I'm pregnant, but the rest of the time I have fairly thin hair. So I do loose quiet a bit, but nothing like what you are describing. It wasn't in a localized location, nor was it enough to notice a major change (other than having to twist a poney tail holder more).

Everything I've read says that since you don't loose hair as much pregnant that during those postpartum months you loose the hair that would have normally lost.
