we do not believe that it is a food allergy...My husband suffer from hayfever etc...she hasn't had it since so we are taking it as just an itchy allergy to something around the home..not sure what? thanks for all the mums who helped out with comments or suggestions.

my son was about 3 months when he broke out with this horrible rash I tried every single medicine or cream i could find anywhere...... and of course nothing worked i wasen's sure if he was allergic to his formula, cereal, food so i finally got him tested for allegies and he wasen't allergic to anything....they believe it is eczema but i noticed his face got worst when he ate applesauce not the juice just the applesauce so sometimes i just think it's trial and error oh and i also use all free and clear that baby dreft is so scented.... good luck i'm not sure if i helped but i hope sooo

the applesauce could be a acidy thing which is touching his skin... also allergy testing at this age isn't accurate so you may want to try to keep a food journal for him if hes still having issues

My daughter is allergic to peanuts and stawberries. She broke out in a big rash on her face but when I found that out, I stopped giving her those foods and after a few days the rash was gone. Just watch what you feed carefully so you can know what the specific thing is. Hope this helps.

my son was sick from day one. sinusitis, conjunctivitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, you name it, he had it. we finally went to an allergy specialist and he was diagnosed as having an allergy to cats. my babysitter has three!!! once we had the answer, the problems all went away.... he also has a skin allergy to chamomile. he breaks out in blisters if i put chamomile lotion on him, so we avoid it...

My little girl broke out very bad from antibotics. It was pitiful. After a day of benadryl she was ok. She also gets puffy faced in the spring. It is so pitiful to actually see it. I dont think she ever felt as bad as it looked.

my daugther hasn't been tested yet but we are fairly certain she's allerlgic to milk soy and gluten... both of my kids have eczema so we deal with rashes all the time...
they MAY outgrow the allergies but it's not a guarentee

yea my daughter shes allergic to to every medicine omg its crazy but they will grow out of it

Michelle; please be careful w/ the meds.  I am 29 and I never out grew those allergies.  In fact there seem to be more now than when I was young.  So nothing against you, but I would check your source b/c med allergy can risk your childs life and I would hate to have that happen you, or anyone.  I can't get sick while pregnant or breast feeding b/c there is not a med I can safely take.

Julie, it depends on the allergy wheather or not they will out grow it. I took my now 11 month old son to my allergist b/c he broke out in hives after eating prepared bananamango baby food. He told me he was hoping that it was minor enough that by age 2 it would be gone. Just keep your eye on it; may need to find an allergist when your child is older to make sure.
