I had trouble for a little bit trying to get my girl to get protein in her diet, she would not touch meat! So I tried sprinkeling cinnamon on baked small pieces of turkey breast, and she gobbled it up! Who would've thought

I've looked into this before when my daughter seemed to be overly picky.  It turns out toddlers are grazers.  When I read that it's our job to provide lots of options and their job to eat what they want of those options, it made me feel a little better.  I try to make sure there's a little bit of everything for her to choose from at each meal, and if she eats, she eats.  Some days she eats as much as I do, other days she just picks.  It all comes out in the wash.

I also noticed that my daughter didn't eat as much when she was really sick.  If your area is anything like mine, there's about 4 or 5 different viruses going around.  Has your daughter recently been sick or dealing with allergies?  That may be part of her less-than-enthusiastic take on food.  Once mine got her health back, an even healthier appetite came with it.

Good luck!

trying to find something that my daughter will eat is the worst part of the day! she used to eat great and now she throws everything and turns her face away without even trying things. hot dogs work for rite now. someone told me to just stick w what they like... and if it helps u feel any better, buy some pediasure so that theyre at least getting the nutrients they need. im glad its just a phase!

Im having same problem.. But my daughter wont eat anything besides junk food lately. She wants chips and cookies.. my fault for letting her have in first place... but now thats all shell eat. She stopped vegetables months ago, I had her still eating Gerber organic chicken and turkey in jar baby food because only way to get meat in her besides chicken nuggets.. and now wont even touch all of those. I dont know if its teething or her new little sister that just joined our family. Im at my witts end also.

Its extremely fustrating and upsetting.

I go through the same thing with my 22 month old and 3 year old.  They both love oatmeal and pb&j but that's not enough.  I started chopping apples into the oatmeal and when I make pancakes I puree sweet potatoes and add that to the mix with some cinnamon, I think it tastes great and they like it too.
