Hello Danielle and welcome. I to am having trouble potty training my daughter. The best thing they say is to put them in underwear and let them pee. They won't like the feel of being wet and it should help. As for the bottle....it was real easy for me to take the bottle away. As soon as she was done with formula....I took the bottle away and gave her a sippie cup and she never asked for a bottle again. She was just under one when I did that.

WOW Danielle-single mom, working and studying-thats a lot of balls to juggle. Fair dues woman. with regards ur daughter-will she drink cows milk or is she still on formula? will she drink from a beaker or sippy cup? try cutting down bottles during day before trying to eliminate night feeds. And if ur son is not ready to potty train, dont rush him. my boy is toilet training at the moment and its a lot of work(apparantly boys are harder). best of luck. im only new to Cirle of Moms too, so im pleased to meet you. Hi Danielle

I found letting when potty training that letting my son running around with no nappy helped but that was the summer time and you can do that then.... maybe try this for an hr at a time and leave the potty beside him or what elae i did was put on his favourite programme put him sitting on the potty and he forgot and went in it then... or it could be just a case that he may not be ready...my friend child was like that she tried and to no succeeed but tried two months later and he got it striaght away..

hope this helps a wee bit kim
