Oooohh yeah I've heard of that game before (the forbidden word(s) one). I also heard of one where you buy a bunch of those little plastic decor babies and you put them in an ice cube tray with water and freeze them into a cube and give one to each person (I'm not sure if it's in their drink or what lol) and whomever gives "birth" first lol gets a special prize.

At my sister's baby shower, I went out and a bought some small fake soothers(you can get them at party supply shops), I thread them through ribbin (just the stuff you used to rap a gift). Gave everyone 3 and they could not use the baby's name, or word "baby", who ever caught them saying it got to take the soother and after a certain time, you give a price to the one with the most soothers. This is a good game that last and it's fun to see people "catch" other people saying the words. If you do while opening gifts and eating you'd be suprised how hard it is not to use the words. Also a poplular one is the tray game, use items that newborns use or mom uses with newborns. It's like baby shampoo, diaper (bonus is they can say the brand or size of diaper). Soother, ect. About 12 items in total. Two items that get the older or much younger guests are breast pad (think it's a shoulder pad) and bottle liner (think it's a condom). Have fun!

Game ideas: get some daipers and different types of candy bars. Number the daipers and melt one candy bar into each daiper (make sure you write down what number has what candy bar) and have them pass the daipers around and write down their guesses about what candy bar is in what daiper. You don't have to give them the names of the candy bars you bought, either.
You can buy some jars of baby food (veggies, mixed, fruits) peel off the labels and like the daipers, number, guess what it is.
Have an umbrella and hang different baby items from it (small items; suggestions would be baby mitts, nasal asparater--hoewver you spell it), thermometer, baby nail clippers, travel sized baby powder/shampoo, etc., baby keys, teething ring, pacifier, you get the idea) and have it somewhere as a decoration. When it come to the game have them look at it for a few minutes and then take it away and out of sight and have them list everything they can remember on it.
Jumble up the letters of baby necessities or related baby terms or words and have them unscramble them on a line next to the scrambled words. Person with the most correct (as with the rest of the forementioned) wins.
You can also do the scramble words with other things. With baby related movie titles or children title movies, list something famous in the movie and have them write the title (i.e. "she lost her slipper" would be Cinderella), have the adult animal name on one side and on the line they have to write the technical name for the baby anmial....duck, duckling, spider, spiderling, horse, foal, cow, calf, goat, kid....
I'm trying to remember others lol....guess how many cotton swabs are in a container/clear baby bank....lol you could have dolls (ask friends or if your children have any) and have a baby daipering contest lol complete with baby powder.
Theme ideas: Hmm....usually it depends on what she likes, but....there's Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Ducks, Monkeys, just about any type of animal lol, and I'm not sure what else they have there lol Hope it helped a little.
