Help! My 15 month old will not eat anything for dinner. She chews everything up in tiny pieces and spits it out, then goes for more. Any suggestions?

She isn't hungry. She is playing with her food. When she starts the behavior, recognize it as such, and simply take her food and make her leave the table. No snacks until the next meal is served. She won't starve to death and believe me, when the next meal time rolls around, especially if this is happening at the evening meal, she will eat and she will eat well! Kids don't have the same "food clocks" as we do, so don't try to "make" her eat if she isn't hungry. Remember, if she doesn't eat her meals, she doesn't get a snack!

Our doctor said as long as he was drinking his milk and having poo & pee everyday he was fine. My son is 3 and now and only eats every so often - he eats the most (which is still not much) when he is on a growing spurt. (He does drink alot of milk though all the time.) He has always been at the top of the charts for growing so something must be working!

Don't worry too much! Kid's won't let themselves starve as long as they are given the option to eat. Does she snack alot? Does she do it for attention? There could be many reasons, but I say to just let her be. It will change sooner or later.
