she should grow out of it when she naps at home try to put her some where other then her bed try the car set with the noise machine and if that works start taking the noise machine away my oldest did something like that she did not want to take a nap or sleep anywhere but home in her bed so i tryed the carset and then when we went somewhere she wanted her carset to sleep in

that's what everyone has told us ~ every weekend get out and if you dont do anything but drive around at least do that ~ shelby does have a special blankey~actually lol its her mommies shirt it has a soft feel to it so i figured if it makes her happy she can have it ~ and yes i know exactly how you feel about the store ~ everyone looks at me like im beating my child but really when they look us like that id really like to beat them! dont mess with mama bear lol but seriously, everyone should experience a live wired child of their own that way they would understand where us mommies are coming from ~ if god gave me this beautiful baby with a short fuse ~ it doesnt matter we as a family will get thru this together becuz at the end of the day those pretty melt your heart smiles and kisses make it all worth all the tears thanks casey! :O)

I went though the same thing with my son, he had a very strict routine and god help us all if we tried to mess with it lol. From the time he came home from the hospital he hated going out anywhere and had to sleep in his bed it was a nightmare, when I went out shopping I would see other mums with their newborns in the pram happily sleeping while mine was screaming his head off cause he wanted his bed.
I stuck to the same routine with him, so he had his bottle and got ready for naps at the same time everyday but sometimes instead of putting him in the cot to sleep I would wrap him up and put in the pram and take him for a walk (not to the shops or anywhere to noisy and busy) yeah he would scream for a bit but eventually he got used to it. After we had mastered the pram we did the same thing with the car, we'd feed him at the same time and then put him down for his nap but this time we would put him in the car and just go for a drive and once again he would carry on but he got used to it.
We always made sure he went to bed for the night in his cot but some day sleeps we would do things differently, it took us a while but eventually he got used to it, if your baby sleeps with a special blanket or toy make sure you take it with you everywhere you go to help comfort her and always stick to the same times that she has a feed and goes to sleep. Good luck and hang in there.
