My name is Judy and I have two handsome boys, the oldest is two and the baby is eleven months . My boys love their pacifers so much that they don't plan on giving it up anytime soon . What good advice do you ladies have for me .

Its up to you mama!!! My son was about 2 when we took his pacifier away, only because it was becoming the only thing that would stop him from throwing fit and I didn't like what seemed tobe starting. It only took him about a week to realize he wasn't going to have it again. It went smooth! I think it was harder for me to take away because I felt like I was loosing part of my BABY! I don't think there is anything wrong with pacifiers!!!! Let the babies be happy!!!

hey judy, i don't think it's a very big issue because in fact pacifier has it's advantages and disadvantages..

I believe the kids will kick the habit very soon when they grow up older.. my Little girl kicked this habit very early by her own.. she doesn't like pacifier in nature.. hehe..

Try to educate them and show them toddlers friends that didn't use pacifier. Also tell them the disadvantages of pacifier especially the dental problems..

I have a post about pacifier (with my girl's photo) and you may take a look - My Pacifier Post

It takes time..
