It is not an allergy as she didn't eat or do anything out of the normal.

Any advise.

go to your regular doctor or if its a weekend or night go to the hospital. we made the mistake of going to a walk-in clinic when our son had an eye infection. the drops the so called dr. prescribed made my son's eye swell shut. we took him to the hospital to find out he was given meds that should only be used in adults.

I used to get conjunctivitis/pink eye often as a child. If the doctor gives you a choice between eye ointment & drops, go for the drops. The ointment is very uncomfortable.

I would suspect conjunctivitus - our son never had it but lots of friends babies did. It is highly contagious and more common if she has spent time in a child care or with another baby with it. Go to doc and get it confirmed - they will give you some drops for it.

doctor is where you need to go and wash your hand you can get it and pass it back and forth. just know its not to serious she just need a round of antibiotics.
clean her eye from the corner of where her tear duck is out word not down word with a coten ball dipt in saline solution.. yous a new coten ball for each eye.

If it's not allergies and there is "pus" or "goop" in her eye, take her to the doctor. They will swab/culture the goop. She will likely need an antibiotic to clear it up. Could be anything from pink eye to a staph infection or blocked tear duct.
