Hi there. My 11-month-old, who used to be a great napper, is now not interested. Is this just a natural change?

I have 5 kids and each one was different from the other! sometimes they are just trying to establish some kind of control and go back to napping... like going through a stage!

both my children stop napping during the day from about 7 months onwards and they went bed at 6.30pm and slept right though which was great

I think it's normal. My son (and his entire class at daycare) started cutting back to 1 nap during the day at around that age.

Is your child walking? My DD quit wanting to take naps when she started walking and I was told that is normal. They just want to explore because they have figured out a new way of exploring. My child has slept very well since.

My son did at about 12 mos. The pediatrician said that it is normal. My daughter on the other hand is 4 and still naps. Each child is different, so if you have more than one it may differ but from my experience it is very normal. Hope this helped.
