How can I get my 18 month old to take longer naps? I recently just stopped breastfeeding my daughter, now she doesn't want to nap. She might only sleep for about 15 min during the day. Anyone have suggestions?

we had to let our son cry for a good twenty minutes at first when we stopped rocking him to sleep and when i stopped feeding him.. the doctor said that was fine and she said within a matter of a few weeks he would eventually fall asleep faster and not cry as much. The doctor was right and now if he does cry at all or wake up it's always under five minutesof crying before he goes back to sleep or back to napping.
