How can i get my 2 yr old comfortable enough to go on the potty?

We bought a super cool potty. It cost a bit more than the average potty but it looked just like a little toilet and had a flush and toilet roll that sang as well as a sensor to know when your child had been and sang a song about it. It was unreal! Anyway, when I got it home, I put it in our living room and didn't say anything to my daughter about it. SHe became very curious about it. When she asked me if it was a toiet I said yes, it is and didn't add anything else. I played it so calm as if it was no big deal at all until she actually used it the following day where I proceeded to clap and congratulate her and tell her how proud I was of her now she is a big girl. SHe used it all the time for about 3 months until she decided she wanted to use the big toilet. Basically I didn't put any pressure on her at all. Keeping the potty in the living room might have been a bit gross but it gave her the confidence to use it.

I bought a normal boring potty and told her was a toilet as she always goes into the toilet room with me. I sit her on it and read a book or play with a car or something to distract her. At the moment she just likes to get her nappy off. They just need time to get used to the idea.
