I'm going to suggest the same to you as I have several other mothers. I used the Nuk three in one training feeding system with my son Dakota who is now two years old going on three in Sept. It comes with your usual bottle top silisone nipples, then a silicone top for traing to get used to the odd shape of the sippy cup and for later the straw top to teach how to suck from a straw. If there are night time battles with the bottle use the sippy cup top it really doesn't look that much diff. and if they notice just say your old bottle was wore out you needed a new one its new. Don't you like it? It takes a little time and if you use it more during the day with juices it will help with night issues too. As they get more accustom to that form of cup then switch to the reg. hard top sippy cups and say that you suck on it just like your bottle. Encouragement will go a long way and exercise as much patience as possible. Pushing to hard as with anything else could lead to a longer transition. Good luck.... and you may be able to Google nuk products for a coupon I'm not sure. Its located in your local Walmart store in the baby isle.
