What I did was just one day I packed up all her bottlles and moved on w/ using her sippy cups. She was fine w/ the change no problems at all. But all babies are different soo if anything take it slow and move down to one bottle a day, like before bed time maybe

Just after my daughter turned 1 I only gave her a bottle before her afternoon nap and before bedtime. After about a month she only got a bottle before bedtime. (I used the sippy cup with the soft mouthpiece at first.) Then after a little while I just stopped...

Yes 1 1/2 yrs is ready to do sippy cups. If you have never introduced the sippy cup first do that. Allow her to get familiar with it and figure out how it works. Then start by giving her a morning bottle and a bottle right before bed (brush teeth after bottle), but during the day do only sippy cups. At first the amount of milk she drinks may go down. That is OK...often times those that are drinking from bottles are getting more milk than they need in a day. Once she is doing pretty good with the day time sippies then take out the morning and bedtime bottles. I personally only allow liquids to be at the table only. If you are doing 2 snacks and 3 meals a day with giving a sippy at each that is really all they need (unless it is a hot day or they have been running around and need a drink). I still do those drinks at the table though. I find that the sippy can become the new bottle sometimes and making the rule that you have to drink at the table helps to prevent the sippy from turning into the next bottle. This also makes it an easier transition from sippy to regular cup.

Switch to the sippy cups that are shaped like bottles. My son is almost 2 and he uses those sippies and his doctor said it's fine as long as it's not an actual bottle.
